Plan your Thanksgiving family photo
Choose the people before the props
Start with a clear group photo or separate references of each person you want included. The creator accepts six reference photos total. That is an upload limit, not a promise about the number of people it can reproduce reliably.
Keep faces above the table
The home scene puts the group beside the table rather than mid-meal. Check that pumpkins, flowers, plates or hands do not obscure anyone. For a simpler backdrop, choose the porch.
Coordinate autumn colors
The home look uses chocolate, cream and caramel; the porch uses navy, burgundy and ivory. You can request your own palette in outfit notes. Match a few colors across the group rather than asking for identical outfits.
Leave room for the card crop
If this will become a greeting card, choose an image with space above the heads and around the group. Crop the original download to your printer’s photo area and add your greeting as editable text.

Can I use separate photos when relatives cannot gather?
Yes, separate references can be used to create a new group portrait. This page’s two main examples use one four-person reference, and the broader family collection shows separate-reference examples. Review every person in your own preview.
How is this different from fall family photos?
These settings center on Thanksgiving’s harvest table and porch gathering. The fall collection has broader autumn parks, foliage and pumpkin-patch looks. Choose the scene that fits the picture you want rather than treating the pages as different quality levels.
Can you recreate our real dining room?
The preset creates a general Thanksgiving setting. It does not preserve or exactly recreate your home, tableware or decorations. Use your original photographs to document the real gathering.
What is free, and what costs money?

Will the AI portrait look exactly like the reference?
Not always. AI creates a new image, and facial details, age, clothing and hands can vary. Compare the preview with your references before paying. The people shown on this page are fictional demo subjects, not customers or evidence of a guaranteed result.
What photos should I upload?
Use 1–6 clear, recent reference photos total. Include every person or pet you want shown, with faces large and unobscured. Separate photos can be used. Avoid filters and unrelated people. Use photos you have permission to upload; a parent or guardian should manage a child’s session.
How do I get help or request deletion?
For a quality-issue review under our refund policy, contact us with your gallery link, affected photo numbers and the specific issue. You can also request deletion. Our privacy policy explains how references and generated photos are processed and stored.
