We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:
- Photos you upload to generate AI portraits
- Email address (if provided during checkout)
- Contact-form details, including your name, email and message
- Payment information processed securely through Stripe
- Usage data and analytics to improve our service
- Private gallery delivery records, including requested photo selections, download format, timestamps, transfer outcomes, browser download acknowledgments, and whether access used the owner session or a shared link
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate AI portraits based on your uploaded photos
- Process payments and fulfill your orders
- Communicate with you about your orders and our services
- Investigate delivery issues and review support or refund requests using private download records. These records do not prove a file was saved to a device or identify which person used a shared link.
- Improve and optimize our service
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data Storage and Security
Your uploaded photos and generated images are stored securely using Firebase. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Completed free previews are also stored so you can return to them. This browser remembers up to three recent preview references for seven days, alongside any saved gallery links. Clearing browser storage can remove those links. Removing a preview from the list does not delete its uploaded photos or generated image; contact us to request deletion.
Download records are kept in our private Firebase records for support and delivery review. Public analytics trackers are disabled on private gallery pages; download records do not include access tokens or photo URLs.
4. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate the website and fulfill requests:
- Firebase: authentication, job records, uploaded photos and generated image storage.
- Replicate and the image-model provider used for your request: image generation from the reference photos and instructions you submit.
- Stripe: payment processing.
- Slack: delivery of messages you submit through our contact form, including the name, email, topic, optional order ID and message you provide.
- Gizmo Analytics and Vercel Analytics: website usage measurement. Gizmo uses a random token stored for your current browser tab to connect a purchase with the visit that led to it. The token is also passed to Stripe, rotates after 30 minutes of inactivity, and is cleared when the tab closes. It contains no photos or contact information.
- Google Ads: advertising and conversion measurement. Google Analytics and Meta measurement may also run when enabled on the website.
These services process information needed for their role and have their own privacy policies.
5. Data Retention
We retain your uploaded photos and generated images for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Request data portability
7. Children’s Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
