For the parent who is usually behind the camera.

A mommy-and-me portrait can start with one clear picture of each person. The same settings work for mother–daughter, mother–son and dad-and-me photos: include the parent and child you want shown. The matched examples show separate references and the generated result, so you can judge what changes before uploading your own photos.

These are new AI portraits, not documentation of a real shared moment. Age, facial details, hands and relative height can change.

Plan your parent–child portrait

01

Keep the group intentional

For a two-person portrait, use references containing only that parent and child. A group reference containing other relatives can bring unwanted people into the result. Use current photos of the child rather than asking the AI to age them.

02

For Mother’s Day

The window setting gives you a close portrait for a Mother’s Day card or small print. Choose a favorite color in the outfit notes. Add your own message and the date afterward so the wording stays exactly as you want it.

03

For Father’s Day

Use the same collection with a father and child reference. The supporting example on this page shows a dad-and-me result. Simple casual outfits and a relaxed pose help keep the focus on the two faces rather than props or lettering.

04

Choose a pose that fits the ages

The window scene seats people close together; the garden scene suggests a gentle hand-holding pose. For older children or adult children, describe a comfortable side-by-side pose. Check height, hands and apparent age in the preview.

How to choose clear reference photos

Mommy-and-me & parent–child photos: questions, answered

Can I make mother–daughter or mother–son photos from separate pictures?

Yes. Include a clear reference of each person. The two main examples show a mother with a child using separate fictional photos. You still need to compare both faces, ages and proportions in your own preview.

Is this only for mothers?

No. The scene uses the people you supply. Fathers, grandparents and adult children can choose these settings too. We show a separate father-and-child example, while our family collection covers broader group portraits.

Can I use it for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gifts?

You can download a paid portrait and arrange your own print or card. This service sells digital images; it does not print or ship gifts. Check the original’s resolution and crop before ordering.

What is free, and what costs money?

Your first watermarked preview is free, with no account or payment card required. Paid digital galleries start at $19. You choose a gallery after reviewing the preview; there is no subscription. Printing and shipping are not included.

Will the AI portrait look exactly like the reference?

Not always. AI creates a new image, and facial details, age, clothing and hands can vary. Compare the preview with your references before paying. The people shown on this page are fictional demo subjects, not customers or evidence of a guaranteed result.

What photos should I upload?

Use 1–6 clear, recent reference photos total. Include every person or pet you want shown, with faces large and unobscured. Separate photos can be used. Avoid filters and unrelated people. Use photos you have permission to upload; a parent or guardian should manage a child’s session.
